Today is the official start to the I.R.S. 2014 Tax Season. We want to compile a list of payments dates for our users to see to better help them determine the date that they will get their refund. So we pose the question, “When did you get your refund 2014?”
We would like everyone to reply to this post with the date that their refund was accepted and the date that I.R.S. has set for their direct deposit or check. To find out this date, you will need to visit the I.R.S. Where’s My Refund webpage.
Optionally, we would also like you to post the date that your state refund, what state, and when your state finance department gives your refund date. To find out this, visit our Where’s My State Refund page.

Mine were accepted but have not received a deposit date
My accepted date was 01/26/14. From the info I am getting online I SHOULD have it direct deposited by 02/05/14. IRS website says it once it is accepted, leave yourself 10 days to have the direct deposit sent out. I think I will get mine on Feb 5th or maybe sooner. I HOPE!!!!
accepted date for ohio state tax is 1/29/14 and it says 7 days from that i should have my money

Laura, it means February 5th. They want to make sure and give the banks a chance to handle the deposit load. This way you don’t call the I.R.S. griping on February 5th. Just watch your bank account online and I am sure it will show up early February 5th. 🙂

If it says processing they received it and are working on it. I filed on Jan 28, accepted on Jan 29 just to give an idea if the time frame.
I filled on th 25 will i get a notification when its accepted?
No. Processing means that they are reviewing your return for errors and will give you a status in the next week or so.
Does the website say processing for yours?
I dont have a date mine just say processing and will be sent 21 days of the date recieved what does yout say?

Well i filed on the 15th was accepted on the 28 and still have no date for deposit i went through jackson hewitt starting to think that was a mistake being i see people on here who filed after me and have a deposit date when i filed almost two weeks earlier them them.

My acceptance date was the 29th and my refund was approved saying it should be deposited on the 6th.

My acceptance was 1/24 @ 00:18 .. IRS says acceptance and refund set for 2/6 .. So looking at tues/wed which falls into line with previous years.

Yes. Many many people have. It’s not filing dependents that is holding you up. It is normally school, medical, itemized vs. standard deductions, and business expenses that hold tax returns up.
I filed 1/26, and was accepted 1/29, but have no deposit date, just says within 21 days. I'm going on a cruise Feb 5th, and really hope it gets direct deposited this week! 🙂

I have three dependents and filed on the 29th and i still dont have a deposit day its been saying processing since the 31st. I was woundering if its becouse i have 3yall dependents and can anyone tell me if they know if thats it???
I don't think that has a factor in anything. I have 3 dependents too and have a deposit date of the 6th. I filed hella early though.
They're still working on it. Give it a week or so and you should have a deposit date come up on the site.

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today opened the 2014 filing season by highlighting a growing array of online services and encouraging taxpayers to check out a variety of tax benefits, such as the often-overlooked Earned Income Tax Credit.
Lavinia, they actually began accepting returns on January 24th, 2014. They didn’t publicize it, but we know of several hundred individuals personally who were accepting on that day.
I live in TN. I did mine on Jan. 24th and it was accepted on the 28th. I still don't have a refund date. I used Turbo tax. The first round of refunds will be issued on feb. 6th.

Accepted on the 26th. Said refund on the 6th. Still no refind. A says 20th.
my girlfriend received her refund last night around 11 pm it was accpeted on 31 and approve and deposit last night it had a dd date of 14 or 16.

Who is affected by the tax refund delays?
The IRS is currently stating this is a system wide computer update which affects all tax returns filed before January 26th, regardless of who filed, how they filed, or which type of software they use. What this means to the tax payer is that contacting your accountant of software provider won’t do anything to speed up your return, since this is on the IRS side of the house.
As of right now, the delays are only affecting tax payers who filed their tax returns before January 26, 2012. Taxpayers who filed their returns on or after January 26th should still receive their tax return according to the

I actually filed through Jackson Hewitt and had them take the fees out then print me a check, the IRS deposited the funds in the banks possession so they can take out the fees then they send the remaining amount to the Jackson Hewitt office to print check to give to me, on the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC of San Diego, CA website https://cisc.sbtpg.com/ you log in with your filing status amount and SSN and it gives you the break down of fees taken out as well as the date the IRS sent the funds to the bank. Which I was approved for my refund on Jan 28th and they deposited the amount to bank on Feb 6th like advised and i should get my printed check today or tomorrow. Hope this helps.

From years of past experience I have noticed Tha deposits made to a credit union show up the day the irs states it is deposited but when it is deposited to a bank there is no sign of it for a few days

Filed through h&r block on the 31st (e-file). Irs received it on feb 3rd. And have dd of feb 10th (monday). Btw, I think they update the where's my refund more often. Cuz I checked round 1am this morning and it was still just received. Checked again bout 3pm, for craps n giggles n it said approved with the dd date. Hope this helps.

My acceptance date was the 28th and still shows processing. I did my boyfriends on the 2nd and his was accepted on the third and is already schedule for deposit on the 10th. Wth!

I transmitted my tax at 2:14 am on 2/4/14. It was accepted at 2:25 am on 2/4/14. "Where's my Refund" showed today indicated my refund as approved and my direct deposit day is 2/11/14. Total of 7 days.
